Ally Brabant and Cody Swann Join Gemini Sports Analytics

Gemini is excited to welcome Ally Brabant and Cody Swann to the team!

They will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to help us create and deliver the best possible cloud AI machine-learning platform for sports teams around the globe.

Ally joins Gemini as Head of Product. She spent 3 years at Amazon, then moved to Catapult Sports, a data tracking company for athletes. After her time with Catapult, she moved to Second Spectrum, another lead tracking data company, and was their Senior Product Manager. On the move to Gemini, Ally says, “The bulk of my career has been at companies trying to help people make sense of their data – starting with a data aggregation and visualization start up (Graphiq – acquired by Amazon in 2017), to Amazon Alexa, to, more recently, a pair of sports tech companies (Catapult and Second Spectrum). Across all of them, I’ve seen that data only matters as far as people can understand and act on it. Sports teams, in particular, have access to more data than ever before and are not always getting the most out of it. Gemini is in a great position to help teams use the data available to them and use it make an impact on their organization. I’m stoked to be part of a team who aims to turn information into action and action into success

Cody joins Gemini as Principal Software Engineer. He was a Senior Engineer at ESPN and Head of Platform at a sports collectibles startup. He also ran his own development agency, Gunner Technologies, for over a decade. Cody explains his excitement for the position, “I am thrilled to be joining Gemini, a company that is at the forefront of combining cutting-edge AI technology with my passion for sports. With the opportunity to work alongside a team of talented professionals, I look forward to contributing to the development of innovative solutions that will revolutionize the sports industry.”

Gemini CEO Jake Schuster remarked, “These are two world-class talents joining us at the perfect times in their careers. Product-led-growth and product-market-fit are easy terms to say yet difficult to pull off! Cody & Ally are ideally placed to help take us there”.
