Leveraging the Gemini Advantage

Gemini Sports Analytics are charting a new path as we offer the first AI platform built for Sports. Our CEO Jake Schuster says, “It’s our mission to make data-driven decision-making easier. Sporting organizations shouldn’t also have to be software companies and we all experienced these pain points during our time in elite sport: It is too laborious to gain and leverage insights from all of the data that we collect and pay for. Gemini are here to help!”

Sharing in the excitement, Gemini’s Head of Business Development Mat Young says:

“We are delighted that Texas A&M has become our first customer in the SEC. The Aggies have a rich history of sporting excellence, play in arguably the most competitive athletic conference in the nation, and have strong core values that align well with our growing organization. We look forward to helping drive performances and aiding collaboration.”

The Gemini application empowers stakeholders by delivering predictive data analytics to users, increasing interdisciplinary professionals’ productivity, and enabling high-level decision-makers to make game-changing decisions faster. “Sports Science, and our colleagues in Performance & Wellness are excited to work with Gemini Sports Analytics and utilize their sport-specific AI platform.” Texas A&M Associate Athletics Director Howard Gray says: “College athletics is more fluid now than ever. This agreement with Gemini is an indication of our commitment to adopt new technologies and techniques that can help us take care of our student-athletes, aid performance, and win more games. In today’s world, the amount of data surrounding sports is staggering. We look forward to using Gemini’s AI tools to better harness the power of this information and help answer questions that we previously haven’t been able to answer.”

Pivoting to staff development, Gray shared: “Throughout our early work, Gemini has shown clear dedication to the upskilling of our staff. In time, we believe that this will drive closer integration between various Athletics Department units and more effective collaboration with other on-campus groups.” Highlighting a unique aspect of the Athletics Department, Gray continues: “Our Sports Science PhD Fellows naturally sit at a junction of data, innovation, and several departments on campus. With Gemini’s help, the opportunity to develop this into something world class is very real.”
